Due to the Memorial Day tornadoes, the GMVEMSC meeting and annual awards were postponed. The rescheduled date was July 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM, at a new location: the Montgomery County Business Solutions Center, 1435 Cincinnati St., Suite 300, Dayton, OH 45417.
The council presented the Norma Dittrick Award and the Tom Long Lifetime Achievement Award, and acknowledged the local meteorologists who worked through the Memorial Day tornado events.
